LAUGHLIN, NV (April 16, 2015) – Tropicana Laughlin Hotel & Casino will host its annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration and Car Show on May 1 – 3, 2015 with the festive celebration featuring a car show, headline entertainment and outdoor dance party.
The celebration begins with the Cinco de Mayo Car Show hosted by Happy Times Events from 12p.m. Fri., May 1 through Sat., May 2, 2015 at the resort’s north lot. Car show enthusiasts may enjoy checking out classic, low rider and muscle cars and motorcycles. Awards such as “Best Paint,” “Best Original Restored” and “Trop Choice” will be given on Sat., May 2, 2015.

The excitement ensues with the Victory Plaza Dance Party featuring live entertainment, free admission and a cash bar. The Midnight Cruzzers perform Fri., May 1 from 4:30p.m. – 8:30p.m. and Sat., May 2 from 9p.m. to 1a.m. Rocky Padilla & the L.A. Latin Side perform on Fri., May 1 from 9p.m. to 1a.m .and Sat., May 2 from 4:30p.m. – 8:30p.m. This event is open to the public and located at the Victory Plaza outdoor venue. Must be 21 or older.
The festivities continue with headline entertainment on Fri. May 1 and Sat., May 2 in the Pavilion Theater. Latin R&B, salsa, pop, rock and jazz band, Tierra, takes the stage on Fri., May 1 at 8p.m. The band is known for their classic hits “Together,” “Gonna Find Her,” “Memories” and “Zoot Suit Boogie.” Chicano rock band, Thee Midniters, perform on Sat., May 2, at 8p.m. The hugely popular East Los Angeles band, are known for their cover of “Land of a Thousand Dances.” Show tickets are $20 plus taxes and fees per person and available by calling the Tropicana Laughlin box office at 1-888-888-8695 ext. 6343.
